Our founders spent years mastering marinating, grilling, chopping, and wok-ing, before setting out to bring hearty, delicious teriyaki to new neighborhoods. In 2003, CEO Michael Haith took over Teriyaki Madness and began the company’s slow and smart growth.
For 20 years, we hand-picked the right people with the fire to grow TMAD. We built shops, processes, technology, and programs to set up a solid infrastructure. Once we established a strong, successful business model, we began franchising, bringing together an elite list of entrepreneurial franchisees.
